So, about me:  One of my favorites subjects!

Me?  I’m just your ordinary, average guy who owns property and by property, I mean a person.  Of course it’s consensual, and a work in progress but we’re happy.   How happy?  It’s ecstasy.

As an acquaintance from Florida once said, “I’ve never been so free and happy, as in my chains.”   I know this stuff evokes all kinds of emotions, but I am not asking you to validate or join me.  If you are curious, pull up a chair as I ramble.  If you’ve never met a Dominant before, let me explain this up front, we just love to hear ourselves talk.

  3. Hello XTAC!

I hope you’re doing well. I’m the creator of the blog, Dom Sub Living.

I’m writing a roundup blog post featuring some of my favorite kinksters, and I just wanted to ask you a quick question, “What’s one thing you wish you knew before becoming a Dom, and why?”

I’ll also include a link to your site in the article, and my blog averages over 70,000 visitors a month. Just let me know. Thanks!

    Wow.. just saw this. Sorry…

“What’s one thing you wish you knew before becoming a Dom, and why?”

My journey to becoming a Dom began when an older man took me under his wing and taught me how to be strong and not compromise on what I wanted in a relation. This was in the days before the internet and the one thing I look back on now and wish I knew in the beginning was how to find community. This is no longer an issue, but it was HUGE back then.

To put that into context with today’s BDSM folk who have instant access to so much content and community I think the take away is that with so much available it is like setting a child loose in a candy store.. with all the pain later that could bring.

The term I refer to is “slave frenzy” or “Dom frenzy”. Its all new and you want it all at once. Take your time. Just because you have such a buffet before you is no reason to over indulge. The heart of BDSM is still relations and relations deserve time to grow. This was as true then, as it is now.
